Here are the choices
a) Aquarium/ Zoo
b) mall (to play with bouncy balls at the Rainforest Cafe store)
c) stay home and play
Amma - why don't we stay home and talk - I would really like to do that!
Hee hee- she really loves her talking doesn't she?? ;-)
So then we came up with the grand birthday plan
Breakfast and then pack a picnic lunch
Go to the aquarium and eat our picnic lunch
COme home and dance for mudhakaratha modhakam (S - we are putting akka's DVD to use and learning it - my way of getting back into dance and some workout!)
Then spend the rest of the talking at home..
We are really looking forward to our wonderful day tomorrow!

Be sure to tell her the story of her birth - how Thatha Paati were in Austin and had to rush to rent a car and drive nonstop full speed back to Dallas, and how Appa was in Atlanta, and had to ask the pilot to fly super fast to get him to the hospital in time to meet his potlum. And show her what a little round, curly potlum she was!
oh! and how everyone was waiting waiting waiting to see if she was a boy or girl, and what a wonderful surprise it was!
PS: and then Flip her retelling the story to the first person who walks in the door. I am sure it will get more embellished and interesting!
oh she has heard her birth story - that was one of her favorite stories or 'special kadhai" on her first day of drive to school!
Cool birth story! (first time I'm hearing it). Sounds like some quality girl time ahead. Enjoy.
