Yes - it is great for kids to socialize with older kids - they may learn a few things that you think they are not ready for but overall they learn a lot of things that you are thankful for.
When Adimoo visited us in July, Miss Pot was amazed to see how quickly he drank his milk. Since then we have made a huge leap forward in drinking milk.
This past month Miss Pot has had a chance to spend sometime with K2. In July we spent a week getting used to the Dora Potty - it happened overnight and over the week she got super comfortable with it. I attribute that to having spent the few weeks prior with Adimoo and K2. Then this past weekend when we were visiting R2K2 Miss Pot found the potty seat for the Big potty and found that fascinating. In the past when I have tried to steer her to try the Big Potty she absolutely put her foot down. We did not push it as we were happy she was using a potty. Anyway so we came back and this week Paati/Thatha returned home from their trip. On Friday evening we were hanging out at their place when she said she wanted to go "aai". I told her we didnt't have her potty but I have a Dora seat for the Big Potty just like K2 - "Do you want to try it?" She ran in excited and said "yeah" with her bopping around as usual. We tried and guess what success!
The next day she sat on the Big Pot and even did her Big Job.. yaaaaaaaaa - so another step forward for her. She is sooooooo excited and proud of herself and of course we are too! :)
