school saga..

Ok - we are finally coming out of denial and are starting to look at 'school' options for MissPot. We don't like to think of it as school yet however - just a place for her to go have fun. 

Like every desi in the world (or at least here in our neck of the woods) we are looking at montessori option. The only issue is there is only one in every street corner in our city limits. So how do we know which one is a good one? I am talking to some friends and each one raves about the one their child goes to.. most desis impressed with those schools that have their kids ready and writing upto 50 by age 4 and dreaming of their kids going to IV schools and being the next astronaut. While weam not against something like that happening for MissPot we don't want to crush her creative side just yet... 

SO how do we tell which one is a real montessori and which one to choose.. V's idea is to poll all our desi friends and the one they all veto because it is no academically upto their standards is our winner .. hee hee ;-)
