We had the whole family together over the holidays..
During our last trip to Austin J started calling R mami as Paapi - well not that there is any resemblance but yet he insisted. He calls Perima 'mami' but mami has to be "Paapi" So paapi it is.
One day Kit was upset about something and was sitting in one of the rooms by himself and sulking. J walks up to him with his round face and round eyes and goes close to him and asks him " Mama? " Paapi"? He was so concerned that Kit was upset and was checking with him on who he should go call.
IT is so cute to see that he understands that at that time Kit needs his amma/appa who are mama/paapi! chooo chweet..

Omba omba ! will never forget that. He leaned over and asked Teto, full of concern in his eyes, what can I do? who can I call? all summed up in "Paapi? Mama?"
