MissPot has been learning a lot about the weather and the water cycle. She announced last friday - I have learnt about E_VA_PO_RATION. She explained how the water went from the ground to the sky and when the clouds get heavy they become gray and cannot hold anymore water and then we get rain. (HU???? YY)
Anyway we were encouraged to watch the weather report with them in light of the topic of discussion at school. Yesterday it started drizzling as we were heading out to swimming class. On our way out I remarked - oh no not now.
MissPot immediately said "It is not supposed to rain today - only tomorrow - the weatherman said. Why is the water cycle happening today. Tell the clouds to give rain tomorrow. We don't want rain today".
As parents to a little girl, Miss Pot, and a little boy, J, we are blessed with surprising, fun and even enlightening experiences each new day. We know they may outgrow their childhood some day but we hope to capture their pearls of innocence for posterity. :)

Its just wonderful anytime you hear a child explain the water cycle. Amazing how the concept sinks in so easily and fast.
