Patappa is just shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooo extra sweet these days. He voluntarily crawls over to me, V or MissPot and gives us a hug by resting his head on our chest and closes his eyes. He does it so frequently throughout the day - this just started in the last 2-3 days! It is even more heartwarming coming from him since he has just not been the cuddly kind. Even when sleepy he will refuse to be held and rest his head on us. He typically likes to spread out in his crib so V and I are thrilled to find our baby wanting to cuddle so much! thankum patappa!
The best thing today happened at a friend's place who had us over for tea. We were all chatting and the kids were playing. Patappa had a toy piece in his mouth so their older daughter (5th grader) gently took it away from him and tried to amuse him. So he stretched his hand out with palmside up and said 'tha' (give) 3 times! not once not twice but three times! V and I were zapped. I immediately told the girl that he was asking for that toy piece and so she gave it to him and he was pleased to bits........ that was a sight to behold. He is communicating and interacting - what a concept! Ah welcome little walkie talkie baby of mine. Can't wait to see you grow into your own little person that you are. :)
